Electroformed

Electroforming is an intricate, highly innovative approach to manufacturing jewellery. It is a metal-forming process that uses a removable core, made of wax or a soluble plastic, to create a hollow metal structure that is much more unique and artistic than most traditional jewellery-making processes would allow.

This is done by immersing the mould in an electrolyte solution containing metal ions, then applying currents to adhere the metal to the mould. Over time, this metal layer thickens and can be detached once it has the desired look.

The result is a lightweight and visually stunning piece that can be worn without worry of damage or discomfort, since electroforming keeps both the quality and durability of solid metal designs.

Another huge benefit? The hollow shapes mean less metal is used and you, the retailer, can enjoy higher margins!
